Greetings Everyone,
For those that have heard, and those that have not... Connie and I have invited everyone that can make it, to our home in Norwich for the "Class of 88 Mini-Reunion" on August 9th, starting at 4pm. Due to the "real" reunion being postponed until 2009, we still wanted to host a gathering for those classmates that can make it -- those that are relatively close (or don't mind traveling for a "simple party"), who would like to come and catch up, enjoy some good food and drink, and listen to some 80s music (bring your iPods!).
This is a FULLY FUNDED EVENT -- you need only bring yourselves and your spouses and children, and whatever class of 88 memorabilia you'd like to share, and your ideas for the "big" reunion in 2009.
However, as always seems to be the case, time is short and we need a head count. If you are planning on visiting us, we'd like to know by July 25th. Please post a reply below, or contact me at marc [at] advantex.net, OR better yet, join the class of 88 email list (see the first blog entry on this website) and notify all of us there. Please indicate how many people you plan to bring.
Connie and I are looking forward to this little (?) party and are working hard to get ready. If you are in the area and would like to drop by to help, again, just email me and we'll talk!
I will post back here again on or before July 25th to announce how many RSVPs we've received. PLEASE -- if you have a classmate near you that may not get the message, pass this information along... the more, the merrier!

Aug 11, 2008 at 9:24 AM Well, we have the date for the reunion, a DJ, and some skeleton of a plan. Still pretty loose. Other than that, we got nice and buzzed, had some major league laughs, and had a pretty darn swell time.
