Greetings Classmates,
Here is another update, much more complete, regarding this weekend's festivities.
1.  SATURDAY START TIME  (IMPORTANT):  Yesterday, I sent out an email indicating that the arrival time at the Country Club on Saturday had changed to 6pm.  THIS IS INCORRECT -- our suggested arrival time remains between 5pm and 5:30pm.  A schedule of the evening's events is included below.  Please spread the word that 5pm is the correct beginning arrival time on Saturday.  Don't be late to dinner! =)
2.  ATTIRE:  Dress for both evenings is "casual".
3.  FRIDAY NIGHT ICEBREAKER:  The icebreaker for our reunion is being held at The Blarney Stone Pub, on South Broad Street in Norwich.  The event begins at 7pm, and there will be a $5 cover charge per person at the door.  A 50/50 raffle will be held, to help offset any remaining costs for this weekend, and to seed your class bank accounts for future events.  Included with this evening's event:  Keg beer, wine, and bar-type snacks, while they last.  Live music will be provided - Matt Beadle and crew.  No registration is required for this evening, however we hope to collect contact information from everyone that is not registered for Saturday's event, so that we can keep in touch with you (please, PLEASE do not be shy!).  Please invite any classmates that you know!
4.  SATURDAY ITINERARY:  We have put together the following schedule of events, which is subject to change slightly at any time.  If you would like to have some time to speak to your classmates about anything, please contact me to discuss the details.
5:00 - Guests may begin arriving; parking lot welcome table available for sign-in, fee and raffle collection, and contact forms (to beat a dead horse... please don't be shy -- we'd like to be able to reach you for future events!).  Please bring cash if possible, if paying upon arrival.  Yes, there is a second 50/50 raffle on Saturday night -- again, merely to help offset any remaining costs for this weekend, and to seed your class bank accounts for future events. Bring extra cash for the cash bar if you like.
5:30 - DJ service begins setup, mingling, drinks, and music
6:30 - 8:00  - Dinner service, outdoor pavilionTwo half-kegs are planned, with cash bar after kegs are emptied.  Click this link to view the dinner menu.  The weekend weather report looks great so far.  However, note that the evenings seem to be rather cool here this year and this weekend appears to be no exception.  So, please plan to dress in layers, as this is an outdoor event.  You may wish to carry bug repellant just in case, though we do not anticipate a problem with insects at the Country Club.

8:30 - 9:00 - DJ Service concludes; band setup in progress
9:00 - 12am - Live music (3 sets) -- plan to PARTY (responsibly!) with one of our area's best local groups, "What If".
As of today, we have over 139 guests!  Please have any last-minute folks (classmates OR teachers!!) contact me to register if they wish to come on Saturday -- I'll be happy to take their information by phone, with cash payment at the door.  We will also register people at the welcome table until around 8pm on Saturday.
